When we first heard of Jacqueline Wieser Photography, we thought we’d have a look at her work and learn more about the person behind the camera. We were delighted to find a person who is just as beautiful as the images she produces. Read on to find out more about who she is, what she does and what makes her so good at it.

What inspired you to become a photographer, and what makes it so special to you?

I have always loved photography ever since I can remember, but it wasn’t until I finished my Design Degree that I took photography to the next level. I started photographing nature then I moved on to photographing people and thats where I found my passion. I always remember being mesmerised by photos I saw online or in magazines. The catalyst to getting my first camera was seeing my dad and his passion for photography which inspired me to start shooting. Photography is special to me because I don’t just take an image, I can create it.

What motivates you to push forward with your career?

Great pictures motivate me. When I see something beautiful I try to recreate it and make it my own. I am inspired by everything really! From locations, to lighting to people. But what really motivates me is when you have great support from your family and friends, when people appreciate what I do, it only motivates me to create better pictures.

How have you been able to tackle the negatives that come with following your dream job?

I just deal with it and move on. If I get a negative comment I only learn from it, I don’t dwell on it and let it destroy me. I believe the only way you can grow as a photographer is to get your clients feedback, I don’t always get the best feedback, but thats what makes me a better photographer.

Any advice for someone who might be thinking of working within the same industry?

Don’t go crazy buying the most expensive equipment, enjoy the learning process and don’t be afraid to experiment.
