Calling All Local Poets in Fiji!

The Poetry Shop Fiji is calling out to poets and spoken word artists across Fiji! Submit your poetry by 31 October for your chance to be included in a printed publication by The Poetry Shop Fiji.

The call for submission is for The Poetry Shop’s second Anthology, a collection of poems and prose by local Fijians. Their first book was published by the kind support of the Australian High Commission, titled ‘Whose Voices, Whose Stories’. This year they were gifted with additional funding, which they have chosen to use towards investing in local poets, through this publication.

The Poetry Shop, Fiji began as an online space to create news spaces for writers and poets in Fiji, primarily those based in Suva. More importantly, the Poetry Shop engages and formalises literary events and initiatives in and around Suva.

Submit your work by emailing before 31 October 2017. To find out more, download The Poetry Shop’s flyer below.
